Love classic decor and large scale balloon drops

Teaching over 20 years, NABAS, WBC, BACI, Q Corner, Float, Greeting House, The Grand Balloon Tour. A very relaxed style of teaching, informative, Hands-On, Q&A. Always expect the un-expected. Never a dull moment with the very best of British Banter

So, what will I be teaching at Balloon Camp

After a recent discussion with the committee of Balloon Camp they have decided to allow me to teach you the Naughty Elf Arch but with a difference. As each course will be 90 mins we are going to take up 2 slots. One slot prior to breaking for Lunch will focus on how to build the arch using only air filled balloons with some great tips and top take-a-way info. How to make it stable and long lasting for your clients over the festive period. A little bit of hands-on help from some of you will make this class memorable and fun. Whatever we don’t get finished will be sorted over over lunch and if you want to help then thats fine with me. (Many Hands Make Light Work)

After Lunch…..Let’s Talk Business. In this session we will dissect the Naughty Elf Arch and job cost it out live in the class. I know it sounds daunting but the more understanding you have about the importance of Job Costing the more you will understand the needs of your business and dont worry, I will make it fun.

Balloon Drops. This was requested by the Committee and will be a full Hand-On Class so fun and games all the way and will cover the following…..

Prepping and cutting nets ahead of time

BIGGER is better, Less is more. Don’t worry, all will be explained

Managing teams and job tasks

Chain Stitch v Running Stitch. You will all get to do a chain stitch

Rigging and working at heights

Easy theatre and rigging terminology. Do you know your stage left from your stage right

And if we get time I might be able to throw in a net less balloon drop. I know, exciting times ahead for Balloon Camp 2026
